Established in 1987, Lakemaps is a beloved midwestern map brand offering lake and river maps and guides tailored for anglers and outdoorsmen. Lakemaps is best known for its simple yet durable plastic maps, characterized by a classic and attractive hand-drawn style. Over the past four decades, Lakemaps has published hundreds of maps covering bodies of water in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. A product line which began as hand-drawn maps on index cards has grown into a flourishing line of product offerings including plastic maps, multi-map sets, and large Paper Area Lakemaps (PAL).
Plastic Card Maps
The standard Lakemaps format in a classic hand-drawn style. These waterproof maps are printed on durable 7x11 cards for easy handling and longevity. Powered by DNR data, each map provides information about local lake conditions, fishing insights, and notable points of interest. You'll find details on depths, bottom composition (such as sand, gravel, silt, and muck), fish species present, access points, and nearby landmarks. Sold Individually or as multi-map sets for full coverage of larger lakes.
