Road & Recreation Atlases
"Field-Checked For Accuracy," Benchmark's atlases include landscape and physical features of the topography, along with road and recreation information. State atlases are created for people who need an authoritative reference to the natural beauty, culture, and history of the American West and Beyond. Nowhere else will the camper, boater, traveler, hunter or armchair explorer find a more comprehensive guide and travel companion. There is a special emphasis on recreational activities and opportunities. Public land ownership information is also provided, and the atlases are thoroughly indexed. At the heart of the atlases are the richly detailed Landscape Maps compiled by skilled cartographers using the latest digital technologies. These maps combine shaded relief and hypsometric tints or land use imagery.
Folded Recreation Maps
Benchmark's folded Recreation Maps are built from the Recreation Guides within the corresponding state atlases. When unfolded, one side of the sheet provides a full state map with public land ownership, highways & byways, point-to-point mileages, recreation attractions, campgrounds, parks & wildlife areas, boating & fishing access points, hunting units, and more. The other side provides a comprehensive list of essential recreation and travel information. Select maps include insets with a more detailed look at popular destinations, typically a city or National Park.
Wall Maps
Built from our folded Recreation Maps, our state wall maps feature public land ownership, highway and byway detail, and recreation highlights. More than just practical tools for navigation, our state wall maps are stunning pieces of art that will elevate any space. All maps are individually printed on high-quality semi-matte photo paper, hand-trimmed for precision, and shipped in a tube for protection.
